Kings Fall Just Short in Battle With Westbrook, Thunder

Russell Westbrook came away with yet another triple-double Sunday night in Sacramento and the Kings just didn't have a big enough punch to counter with.

The Kings fell, 122-118, to the Thunder at the Golden 1 Center. Westbrook led all scorers with 36 points while adding 11 rebounds and 10 assists.

DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 31 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds. Rudy Gay joined the double-double party, scoring 22 points and coming down with 10 rebounds.

The Kings are now 16-24 on the season. They sit in the No. 9 seed of the Western Conference standings.
