OAKLAND -- Klay Thompson's return to the Warriors inches closer by the day and now he literally believes he is one day away from playing again.
After going through practice on Friday, Thompson, still wearing a bandage around his right thumb, took the initiative of updating his status.
"I feel like I'm probable," he said, referring to the game Saturday night, when the Warriors face the Kings at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento.
The Warriors later confirmed Thompson's status as probable, meaning he's likely to play. He clearly is eager to get back on the court after missing eight games with the thumb fracture sustained March 11 at Minnesota.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr also sounded optimistic about getting the services of Thompson, who missed a total of 12 games over the previous six seasons.
"He practiced today and he's working out, so there's a good chance he'll play tomorrow," Kerr said. "We'll see how he feels tomorrow morning."
Meanwhile, forward Andre Iguodala did not practice and was ruled out of the game against the Kings. He left in the third quarter Thursday night against Milwaukee with left knee soreness and did not return.

Iguodala also could miss the next game, Sunday against the Suns at Oracle Arena.
