Kyler Murray's chances of playing with the A's just took another hit.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, he'll be attending the NFL Scouting Combine in late February.

He's also on the official 2019 NFL combine participation report.
The combine starts on Feb. 26 and concludes March 4. And if you're wondering if this overlaps with A's Spring Training, the answer is yes.
Pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 10 with position players, like Murray, scheduled to report on the 15th.
We can't for certain say what this means, but we do know the Heisman Trophy winner and A's first-round draft pick has dreams of wanting to play both baseball and football professionally. And he was very quiet during a recent interview with Dan Patrick on, well -- everything.
While this is a step in one direction, we at least know he'll arrive at Lucas Oil Stadium and be the subject of many more repetitive questions. But this is a week after he's supposed to arrive in Mesa, Ariz.
So once again, we don't know.
Stay tuned ...
