LeBron to Play Vs. Clippers, Returns Just in Time for Warriors Game

The Warriors avoided LeBron James once, but they won't miss him a second time.

The Lakers star, who missed more than a month with a left groin strain, was cleared to play Thursday against the Clippers.

That means, barring something unforseen against the Clippers, LeBron will play Saturday night when the Lakers visit Oracle Arena to take on the Warriors.

LeBron originally suffered the injury on Christmas Day against the Warriors.

In the 17 games LeBron missed, the Lakers went 6-11 and fell out of a playoff spot. Los Angeles currently sits in ninth place in the Western Conference standings with a 26-25 record.
