When the Warriors and the Lakers take the floor in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, Lonzo Ball will be in uniform.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 draft will be making his preseason debut. He missed Los Angeles' first four preseason games as he continues his recovery from offseason knee surgery to repair a torn left meniscus.
How much will he play?
Ball could play between 10 to 30 minutes when the Lakers and Warriors meet in Las Vegas, according to coach Luke Walton. If all goes well, Ball expects to play again in the Lakers' preseason finale, also against Golden State, in San Jose on Friday.
So he could be play anywhere from a little to a lot. Got it.
Over 52 games last year, Ball averaged 10.2 points, 7.2 assists, 6.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals. But he shot just 36 percent from the field and 30.5 percent from deep.
LeBron James is clearly expecting big things from the 20-year old this season (he turns 21 on Oct. 27):
No pressure, Lonzo.
