Manchester United, San Jose Earthquakes to Square Off at Levi's Stadium

The Reds and Quakes previously faced off against each other in 2015 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose

No need to travel across the pond to watch soccer powerhouse Manchester United take the pitch.

That's because the English Premier League juggernaut has traveled stateside to take on the San Jose Earthquakes in a friendly contest at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.

This isn't the first time that "Man U" and San Jose have squared off on the pitch. Both squads met up in 2015 at Avaya Stadium in San Jose. Behind goals from Juan Mata, Memphis Depay and Andreas Pereira, the Reds rolled to a 3-1 victory over the Earthquakes.

Saturday's contest marks the second in a series of five matches in the United States for Manchester United. The Reds on Thursday tied Mexico's Club America at University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona. Following Saturday's contest in Santa Clara, Manchester United will challenge AC Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid at various venues across the nation.
