Mariners Vs. A's Lineups: Chad Pinder Starting for Robbie Grossman

OAKLAND - The A's will take aim at their fifth straight win Tuesday night when they welcome the Seattle Mariners to town for a quick two-game series.

Chad Pinder will get a rare start in left field, giving Robbie Grossman a night off. Pinder will bat seventh in the order.

Matt Olson is the only left-handed bat in Oakland's lineup as the Mariners send southpaw Marco Gonzales to the hill. Olson will bat in his usual third position behind Matt Chapman. Chapman has owned Gonzales throughout his career, going 9-for-20 with four doubles and a triple.

Gonzales enters the game with a 10-7 record and a 4.24 ERA in 20 starts this season. The 27-year-old is 4-1 with a 3.12 ERA in seven career appearances against the A's.

Oakland counters with right-hander Daniel Mengden. The 26-year-old is 4-1 with a 4.73 ERA in eight games this year, including six starts. In six career appearances against the Mariners, Mengden is 1-2 with a 5.20 ERA.
