In 2001, Meghan Musnicki began her rowing career as a freshman at St. Lawrence University. She transferred to Ithaca College as a sophomore and in her three years as a varsity eight team member, she assisted the Bombers to two NCAA national championships (2004 and 2005). After three failed attempts at making the U.S. Rowing national team, Musnicki’s perseverance paid off. In 2010, she won her first two consecutive titles in the women’s eight at the World Rowing Cup in Lucerne and at the World Rowing Championships. At the 2012 London Olympics, Musnicki won gold and has won gold at every World Championship (2013, 2014 and 2015) since then.
