Mike Francesa was on and ready to go Sunday. In typically Francesan fashion, New York's No. 1 delivered a hot take and almost immediately walked it back during Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
The WFAN-AM host tweeted that Andre Iguodala had "absolutely nothing" early in the Warriors' 109-104 win over the Toronto Raptors. Iguodala was hobbled late in the first half Sunday night, but stayed in the game long enough to drain a game-clinching 3-pointer to even the best-of-seven series at a game apiece.
Not even two hours after questioning how much Iguodala had left in the tank, Francesa heaped plenty of praise upon the 2015 NBA Finals MVP after he finished Game 2 with eight points, eight rebounds and six assists.
Iguodala has absolutely nothing. Sad to watch. Series setting up well for Durant to be a hero.— Mike Francesa (@MikeFrancesa) June 3, 2019
Iguodala clearly hurting. But gives everything he has. That's why he has been such a winner.— Mike Francesa (@MikeFrancesa) June 3, 2019

Give GS credit but that was one ugly game. Iguodala can't move any more but he is a winner.— Mike Francesa (@MikeFrancesa) June 3, 2019

Francesa was tweeting about sports and going at it as hard as he could Sunday night, and added another miss to his growing collection. The sports-talk radio icon is notorious for contradicting himself, and citizens of "Mongo Nation" make seemingly each and every one go viral on social media.
Based on the replies to his tweets, the legendary host might be better off if he hangs up and listens.
