MLB Power Rankings: Where All 30 Teams Stand Two Weeks After Trade Deadline

The trade deadline was supposed to provide some clarity. Instead, most teams just kind of ... hung out. 

The biggest moves in the NL were made by the Mets and Reds, and that has further muddied an insane wild-card race. The Mets are the hottest team in baseball and right back near the top of the race, and the Reds refuse to go away.

The result? There are eight teams separated by just five games in the NL wild-card race. 

In the AL it's a bit easier, but September will still be intense. The Indians and Twins are battling it out in the Central and the loser should get one wild-card spot. That'll leave one for the A's and Rays, with the Red Sox still barely hanging on.
