With the non-tender deadline rapidly approaching, the A's reportedly have non-tendered reliever Blake Treinen.

The San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser was first with the report.

Treinen posted a career-worst 4.91 ERA and 1.619 WHIP this past season losing the closer role to Liam Hendriks. This was coming off a sensational All-Star selection in 2018 with a 0.78 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 80.1 seasons.

MLB Trade Rumors projected Treinen would be awarded $7.8 million in arbitration -- it appears that's not what the A's want to pay for.

MLB's deadline to tender contracts to arbitration-eligible players is Monday at 5 p.m. PT.
