As Slovenian ski jumper Robert Kranjec took a brutal fall while landing during Saturday's qualifying round. The four-time Olympian's right leg slid out from under him resulting in a nasty spill. Kranjec was able to leave the slope under his own power, though in visible pain. He did not need to compete in the qualifiers as he had already prequalified for Sunday's final. The Slovenian has since withdrawn from the medal round due to a knee injury, likely suffered during the fall, but he has not been ruled out of the Olympics altogether.
