NBA Rumors: Anthony Davis Waives Trade Kicker, Lakers Have Max Cap Space

Warriors fans are not going to like the latest developments.

This is a big deal, folks.

Anthony Davis is waiving his $4,063,953 trade kicker in the deal that officially will send him to the Lakers on July 6, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

In addition:

You add these two together and you get this:

Will some of the prized free agents seriously consider the Lakers now? Kyrie Irving reportedly is set on signing with the Nets, but might he decide to reunite with LeBron James?

If that happens, will that impact Kevin Durant's decision? If the Dubs don't offer Klay Thompson the 5-year, $190 million max deal, will he take a meeting with the Lakers?

Free agency -- which opens on Sunday at 3 p.m. PT -- just got even more intriguing.
