The 2019 NBA Draft is over, and now the players that weren't selected are looking for an opportunity.
Enter Kansas star Dedric Lawson.
Yahoo's Chris Haynes is reporting that the forward is committing to the Warriors Summer League team after going undrafted.
Undrafted forward Dedric Lawson out of Kansas has committed to playing Summer League with the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. He was the BIG 12's top scorer (19.1) and rebounder (10.6).— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) June 21, 2019
In his junior season, Lawson led the Big 12 with 19.1 points and 10.3 rebounds during the regular season.

Lawson will be joined on the Warriors Summer League roster by 2018 first-round pick Jacob Evans, who saw limited time with Golden State during his rookie season.

If Lawson can replicate what he was able to do with the Jayhawks, there might be a spot for him on the roster of the G League Santa Cruz Warriors when the season opens up.
