Every day seemingly brings an update to the Jimmy Butler saga in Minnesota.
And Thursday was no different, as The Athletic's Shams Charania has the details:
Sources on @TheAthleticNBA @WatchStadium: Several players spoke up in players-only meeting, but Butler led it, made known his issues with management. His message was similar to one he displayed Wednesday: I run this. He's far too competitive to sit real games. https://t.co/Cwo8OCFY8m— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) October 11, 2018
Earlier today, we learned that the Timberwolves canceled practice -- the day before their preseason finale.
Minnesota's season opener is on Wednesday at the Spurs. Will Butler suit up and play? We have no clue.
But there could be a new update any second now...

Butler has a $19.8 million player option in 2019-20, and all reports indicate he has every intention of declining and signing elsewhere in free agency.
