The sports world was largely put on hold this time last year due to the pandemic, but this Memorial Day weekend features plenty of games that interest Bay Area fans. 

The San Francisco Giants will face off against the rival Los Angeles Dodgers while the Oakland Athletics will take on Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels. 

Here’s the how to watch the Giants this weekend: 

  • Friday, May 28: Giants at Dodgers, 7:10 p.m. PT (NBCSBA)
  • Saturday, May 29: Giants at Dodgers, 4:15 p.m. PT (FOX)

Kevin Durant, who won two NBA Finals with Golden State Warriors last decade, leads the Brooklyn Nets against the Boston Celtics in their first-round NBA playoff series. The Nets won the first two games in Brooklyn to take a 2-0 lead, but things could change when Kyrie Irving returns to Boston for Games 3 and 4.

Former Warrior guard Alec Burks played a key role for the New York Knicks in the first two games against the Atlanta Hawks. Burks and the Knicks will travel to Atlanta for games 3 and 4 of the series.

On the ice, the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs offer additional excitement for San Jose Sharks fans.

Two of the Sharks’ division rivals will face off in a winner-take-all game 7 as the Minnesota Wild take on the Golden Knights in Las Vegas.
