Joe Staley Explains Viral Fourth of July Kyle Shanahan Video

Staley explains viral Shanahan video from Fourth of July originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

As training camp nears, Kyle Shanahan is enjoying some time off and did just that with former 49ers star left tackle Joe Staley during the Fourth of July.

The two hung out in the San Diego area, and Shanahan found a way to go viral while doing his favorite past time: Showing off his throwing arm.

Shanahan called his shot and his throw across the street landed in a pizza oven.

"The funny thing about that video was the build up," Staley said Tuesday morning on 95.7 The Game's "Morning Roast." "Kyle was talking for like five minutes before that video about how he was gonna hit it, and we're like 'No you're not. You're not gonna do that, there's no way you can hit it.' Then his other buddy took the video and first one, first take.

"He didn't stop talking about it the rest of the day."

His first throw? Really?

Staley swears by it.

"On my children's life," Staley said. "First throw."
