Kent Bazemore will not play against the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.

The Warriors guard is out due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

It's unclear at this point if Bazemore will return for Sunday's game vs. the Sacramento Kings, or if this will be an extended absence.

The 31-year-old is averaging 11.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.7 steals over the last nine games (seven starts), while shooting 54.5 percent from beyond the arc.

It's safe to assume that Kelly Oubre will be reinserted into the starting lineup.

Additionally, word surfaced Thursday that Damion Lee is expected to be sidelined for 10 to 14 days because of COVID-19.

The Warriors currently are in 10th place in the Western Conference standings, just one game behind the No. 8 seed Memphis Grizzlies.
