NBA Rumors: Nemanja Bjelica, Warriors Agree on Free-Agent Contract

Report: Bjelica, Warriors agree on one-year minimum contract originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea

The Warriors on Tuesday morning added a big man who can space the floor.

Nemanja Bjelica and Golden State agreed to terms on a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum, a league source has confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski first reported that Bjelica and the Warriors had a one-year agreement in place and The Athletic's Anthony Slater first reported that the contract was for the veteran's minimum.

Bjelica started last season with the Sacramento Kings and was traded to the Miami Heat in late March.

The 33-year-old had the best season of his career in 2019-20 when he averaged 11.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals over 72 games (67 starts), while shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc.
