The Raiders are in search of a new front office executive to replace Reggie McKenzie and they've interviewed someone very familiar with the NFL draft.
Mike Mayock, an NFL Network draft analyst, confirmed to NBC Sports California's Scott Bair on Sunday in Kansas City that he interview with the Raiders for their vacant general manager/executive job.
Just talked to Mike Mayock, who is here in Kansas City. Said he has interviewed with the Raiders for their vacant GM/personnel executive post. He wouldn't elaborate any more than that. Mayock said lots of folks have interviewed.— Scott Bair (@BairNBCS) December 30, 2018
The Raiders have three first-round draft picks in 2019, so Mayock's expertise in this area would be extremely valuable.
We would miss him... but the #Raiders would get smarter. https://t.co/RIWEY1WJX0— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) December 30, 2018
