NFL Rumors: Raiders Could Make ‘big Move' for Kyler Murray Or Nick Bosa

Many expect the Arizona Cardinals to draft Kyler Murray with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

But don't sleep on the Raiders.

With four picks in the first 35, Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have a lot of ammunition to move around in what could be a franchise-altering draft for the Silver and Black. While many have pegged the Raiders as the likely landing spot for Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams at No. 4 overall, few in the NFL would be shocked if the Raiders "made a big move up" in the draft to grab either Murray or Nick Bosa, Bleacher Report's Mike Freeman noted in his "10-point stance" column.

With the No. 4, No, 24, No. 27 and No. 35 picks in the draft, Mayock will have some decisions to make depending on his feelings about quarterback Derek Carr and the talent the Raiders currently have on defense.

While Murray wowed during his Heisman Trophy-winning campaign at Oklahoma, Williams might be the best player in the draft and is projected to be a defensive cornerstone for whichever team calls his name. It will be hard for the Raiders to pass on a guy that can get after the quarterback the way Williams can.

Bosa was projected to be the No. 1 overall pick for most of the fall, but Murray overtook him due to new Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury's infatuation with the dynamic signal-caller. The Ohio State product is at the top of most draft boards, along with Williams, but with both players so close it would be hard to see the Raiders trading multiple picks to move up a few spots to take Bosa when Williams is expected to fall into their lap.

The Silver and Black also will have the option of moving down, should they be overwhelmed by an offer from a team looking to move up to take Williams, Bosa or another top-end defensive talent.

As it stands now, unless Mayock and Gruden have been dreaming of Murray throwing touchdowns passes to Antonio Brown (which would be a sight), it's probably for the best that they stand pat.
