NFL Rumors: Veteran Wide Receiver Jordy Nelson Retires After 10 Seasons

Jordy Nelson is hanging up his cleats.

After 10 seasons in the NFL, the veteran wide receiver reportedly has decided to retire:

James Jones, Nelson's former teammate on the Packers, wished the one-time Pro Bowl pick well.

The 33-year-old recently was released by the Raiders, where he played in 15 games in 2018 for the Silver and Black. He finished his last campaign with 63 receptions for 739 yards and three touchdowns.

Nelson leaves a decade of football behind him with a total 8,587 yards, 72 touchdowns and one Super Bowl championship.
