Jordy Nelson is hanging up his cleats.
After 10 seasons in the NFL, the veteran wide receiver reportedly has decided to retire:
🚨After more than a decade in the NFL, my brother, former #Packers & #Raiders WR @JordyRNelson is calling it a career. He's stepping away from the game with more than 8,500 yards...72+ TD's and as a SB Champion! I'm proud of him and happy for him and his family! #Ese' #Respect— James Jones (@89JonesNTAF) March 27, 2019
James Jones, Nelson's former teammate on the Packers, wished the one-time Pro Bowl pick well.
The 33-year-old recently was released by the Raiders, where he played in 15 games in 2018 for the Silver and Black. He finished his last campaign with 63 receptions for 739 yards and three touchdowns.
