Parade to Honor Tristan Thompson for Punching Draymond Green Was Canceled

Back in mid-July, Tristan Thompson allegedly punched Draymond Green at a party in LA.

A couple weeks later, a Cavs fan scheduled a parade for 3:10pm on Oct. 13 to honor Thompson.

The event is just two days away, but it turns out there won't be a parade after all.

How do we know this? Well, the Facebook page that was built on July 31 now states: "This event was canceled. You cannot share this event, but you can still post."

Over 5,700 people confirmed they would attend, and there will undoubtedly be some who will still show up at Quicken Loans Arena.

Did you forget what Draymond posted to Instagram on Aug. 1?

Furthermore, Draymond was asked a couple questions regarding Thompson in a recent ESPN the Magazine feature:

ESPN: "Is your rivalry with Tristan Thompson over?"
Draymond: "Was it ever a rivalry?"

ESPN: "We've seen conflicting reports about what sparked your scuffle at the ESPYS after-party. Care to set the record straight?"
Draymond: "I want people to believe what they want to believe. If you were there, you know. No big deal."

The Warriors play in Cleveland on Dec. 5 and host the Cavs on April 5.
