Quinn Cook Rejoins Warriors From Santa Cruz

Quinn Cook is in Charlotte and will be available to play tonight when the Warriors take on the Hornets.

Cook -- who is on a two-way contract -- has appeared in three games this season with Golden State.

Over 10 games for the Santa Cruz Warriors, the 24-year old is averaging 25.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.6 rebounds, while shooting just under 50 percent from the field and over 41 percent from deep.

Steph Curry is sidelined with a sprained ankle and Pat McCaw won't suit up vs Charlotte because of a nose contusion.

"Especially with Patrick not playing tonight, we'll play Quinn," Steve Kerr told reporters after shootaround.

Santa Cruz plays on Thursday and Sunday in Texas against the Austin Spurs.

Golden State plays again on Friday in Detroit, and then back at home on Monday against the Blazers.

It's possible that Cook bounces back-and-forth over the next couple of weeks.

"Quinn is a steady point guard ... can shoot the midrange, can shoot the 3," Kevin Durant said on Wednesday. "Just a crafty point guard. Uses his body a lot to manipulate the pick-and-roll. And with that size, he can get into the paint and cause some havoc.

"Once he gets into the paint, everybody collapses. He does a great job at kicking out."
