Raiders-Bengals Injury Report: Gabe Jackson, Kelechi Osemele Questionable

CINCINNATI - Starting guards Kelechi Osemele and Gabe Jackson didn't practice all week, but the Raiders refused to rule them out of Sunday's game against the host Cincinnati Bengals.

Both guys were designated questionable Friday on the Raiders' official injury report.

Osemele has battled a toe injury the past few weeks, while Jackson's dealing with a new elbow problem and a nagging ankle issue.

They are considered game-day decisions, and will try to play the Bengals and protect quarterback Derek Carr on the interior.

Head coach Jon Gruden said that Chaz Greene will play left guard if Osemele cannot go and Denzelle Good will replace Jackson at right guard if he's unavailable.

The Raiders' guard issues are compounded by a Bengals defensive interior headlined by elite three technique Geno Atkins, who can wreck a game even against talented and experienced interior linemen.

"He's a great player and they've got a great defensive front, and they have for years," offensive coordinator Greg Olson said. "It's challenging enough when you have the same five guys you have in there, but when you've got some changes up front it creates a little more of an issue.

"Again, the guys are preparing, they have had a good week of practice here so far and I think they are up for the challenge."

The Raiders still have Pro Bowl center Rodney Hudson inside to lessen the blow if Jackson and Osemele can't play.

The Raiders also designated defensive tackle Maurice Hurst and linebacker Kyle Wilber as questionable against Cincinnati.

Also, Bengals middle linebacker Vontaze Burfict was ruled out with a concussion.
