The Raiders just finished a season they'd rather forget. There wasn't much winning to enjoy. There were few stars for fans to cheer for after so many were traded or waived or cut outright.
This was an a rare in-season tear down that provides a chance to get better this offseason but couldn't give the ticket-buying public much reason for optimism. It was, in essence, a throwaway season featuring many players who won't be around next year.
That doesn't mean the records don't count, or that the past 17 weeks should be forgotten completely.
Let's pass out 10 awards honoring those involved in this campaign, acknowledging the bright spots and struggles that came from the last four-plus moths.
