Raiders' Gareon Conley Practices After Being Carted Off Field Vs. Broncos

ALAMEDA -- Two days after being carted off the field Monday night in the Raiders' 24-16 win over the Denver Broncos, cornerback Gareon Conley practiced Wednesday as the Silver and Black prepare for their Week 2 matchup against the Chiefs.

Conley was injured during the third quarter of Monday night's game when teammate Johnathan Abram came flying in to finish off a tackle on Broncos running back Royce Freeman. Conley was grabbing Freeman around the waist when Abram hit Freeman and the safety's leg came down on Conley's head appearing to impact Conley's head and neck.

Conley was carted off the field.

The Ohio State product gave a thumbs up while he was on the stretcher and tweeted out word that he was good Tuesday.

We won't know if Conley was a full participant or limited until the injury report comes out. Conley didn't have a helmet on during stretches, but he took part in position drills prior to the viewing window ending.
