Butler was cut during training camp last year, but the Raiders later signed him onto the practice squad. He also spent part of the offseason program with the Raiders, signing a reserve/future free-agent deal with Oakland in January.

As for Warren, he became somewhat of a fan favorite last season during training camp, leading the preseason in rushing as an undrafted rookie.
Warren was placed on injured reserve after the preseason with a knee injury in a not-so-veiled attempt to stash the young back.
