NAPA -- The Raiders have made their first roster move of training camp.
On Sunday, the Raiders announced they signed running back James Butler and waived running back Chris Warren III.
Butler was cut during training camp last year, but the Raiders later signed him onto the practice squad. He also spent part of the offseason program with the Raiders, signing a reserve/future free-agent deal with Oakland in January.
As for Warren, he became somewhat of a fan favorite last season during training camp, leading the preseason in rushing as an undrafted rookie.
Warren was placed on injured reserve after the preseason with a knee injury in a not-so-veiled attempt to stash the young back.
