Redskins Hire Ex-Raider

DeAngelo Hall didn't stay unemployed long

The Washington Redskins and cornerback DeAngelo Hall agreed to terms on a contract on Friday. The deal is contingent on Hall passing a physical.

Hall, a five-year veteran, was released by the Oakland Raiders on Nov. 5, just eight games into a seven-year contract.

He had 48 tackles, three interceptions and 13 passes defended in his time with Oakland.

The two-time Pro Bowl selection spent his first four seasons with the Falcons, who selected him eighth overall in the 2004 draft.

Overall, he has appeared in 65 contests and has recorded 276 tackles, one sack and 20 interceptions, including two returned for touchdowns.
