The Cubs just bolstered their starting rotation by trading for lefty Jose Quintana on Thursday, but they aren't done shopping yet.
Chicago continues to show interest in A's right-hander Sonny Gray, according to Jon Morosi.
Gray, 27, is 4-4 with a 4.00 ERA, 74 strikeouts and 25 walks this season.
Gray has two more years of team control before he is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent after the 2019 season.
