A month ago, the Giants thought they had added another talented player to their 2017 draft class.
Now, it appears Jack Conlon won't be joining the Giants' organization.
Conlon, a high school pitcher from Texas, had reportedly agreed to a deal with the Giants in July after failing to sign with the Orioles, who drafted him in the fourth round of this year's MLB Draft.
But the Giants have reportedly found issues with Conlon's medicals, so no deal was signed.
According to Fox Sports, Conlon will now head to Texas A&M to play college baseball.
