Report: JaVale McGee Leaving Warriors for LeBron's Lakers

Just hours after LeBron James' agency announced he would sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, a Warriors fan favorite is reportedly set to join him.

JaVale McGee has agreed on a deal with the Lakers, ESPN's Chris Haynes reported Sunday evening.

McGee joined Golden State ahead of the 2016-17 season as something of a joke around the league, known more for his appearances on "Shaqtin' a Fool" than anything else. He leaves the Warriors as a two-time champion, after averaging 5.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in 9.5 minutes per game over two seasons in Oakland.

He started three of four games against his new teammate and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals, finishing plus-31 and averaging 8.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks in just under 14 minutes per game.
