While one veteran forward is reportedly on his way to San Antonio from Sacramento, another is joining the Kings.
The Kings and free agent Vince Carter have reportedly agreed on a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
According to Wojnarowski, the one-year deal is for $8 million.
Carter, 40, averaged 8.0 points and 3.1 rebounds per game last season with the Grizzlies.
The former No. 5 pick by the Warriors in the 1998 draft is an eight-time NBA All-Star who has averaged 18.2 points and 4.6 rebounds per game over his career.
