Report: Raiders UFA Latavius Murray Visiting NFC North Team

While the Raiders wait out the free agent market, one of their prominent unrestricted free agents is taking meetings with other teams.

Pro Bowl running back Latavius Murray is meeting with the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, according to ESPN.

Over the weekend, ESPN reported that Murray would meet with the Jaguars and Seahawks early this week.

But Seattle appears to have taken themselves out of the Murray sweepstakes by announcing that they agreed to a deal with former Packers running back Eddie Lacy on Tuesday.

Prior to the opening of the free agency signing period, the Raiders were linked to former Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, but those rumors have cooled off.

Second-year players Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington are the primary running backs currently on the roster.

Murray, in his third season with the Raiders, carried the ball 195 times for 788 yards and a career-high 12 touchdowns. He also had 43 receptions for 264 yards.

Drafted in the sixth round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Central Florida, Murray was named to the 2015 Pro Bowl.
