Report: Wisconsin's Koenig to Work Out for Warriors, Climbing Draft Boards

The Warriors are currently without any picks in the 2017 NBA Draft. If they are particularly interested in any prospects, the 2017 NBA champions would have to trade into the draft or buy a pick.

And, Golden State's front office reportedly has their eyes on a prospect climbing up draft boards.

Former Wisconsin star Bronson Koenig is visiting the Warriors to finish his pre-draft workouts, according to Ian Begley of ESPN. Koenig finished his college career as Wisconsin's all-time leader in 3-pointers.

Koenig is a 6-foot-3 guard who averaged 14.5 points per game his senior season at Wisconsin. He shot 39.3 percent from beyond the arc as a senior.

In the 2016 NBA Draft, the Warriors bought Patrick McCaw from the Bucks with the No. 38 overall pick.
