Rockets GM Daryl Morey Takes Shot at Warriors' NBA Championship Ring

When you've won three of the last four NBA championships, you need to do something to make each ring unique.

When your latest championship ring features a reversible top, it's going to garner attention -- good and bad.

In the case of Rockets general manager Daryl Morey, he noticed and took a thinly veiled shot at the Warriors for their ring.

While talking to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski about the challenges of the trade deadline and free agency, Morey offered this:

"It's hard to describe. Only my wife knows or our staff knows because I'll be like ‘I'm working on this' and she's almost tuned it out. For the number of times I say we are working on X and it actually happens, it feels like 1 in 500. She's gotten into ‘Just tell me when it's done,' because … we do talk about a lot of stuff that could really materially help our championship odds sometimes. And that gets everyone excited, from my wife and family to staff, we all want to finally get a reversible ring. Maybe we'll have a holograph. Hopefully someday we'll have to dream up some cool innovation on the ring."

Let's hope the Warriors keep that "someday" from ever coming.

Hey Daryl, in case you forgot what the Warriors' reversible rings look like, here are some images.
