Kevin Durant couldn't be stopped on Wednesday, but his game-high 38 wasn't enough as the Rockets scorched the nets and routed the Warriors 127-105 to even the Western Conference Finals.
James Harden powered the Rockets with 27 points. After not showing up in Game 1, Houston's role players came up big in Game 2. P.J. Tucker scored 22, while Eric Gordon scored 27 points off the bench.
Steph Curry and Klay Thompson weren't effective. Curry finished with 16 points while Thompson scored just eight points.
While Houston had five players in double-figures, Durant and Curry were the only two to eclipse 10 for the Warriors.
The series shifts to Oakland for a pivotal Game 3 on Sunday.
