Russell Westbrook Trade Gives Steph Curry New Mark Among NBA Players

Mike Conley was selected No. 4 overall by the Grizzlies in the 2007 NBA Draft.

He was recently traded to Utah.

Russell Westbrook was selected No. 4 overall by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2008 NBA Draft.

He reportedly was traded to Houston on Thursday night.

Steph Curry was selected No. 7 overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 2009 NBA Draft.

He still is on the Dubs, which means:

Pretty wild, right?

Assuming Curry finishes his current contract in a Warriors uniform (the NBA is crazy), he will be at 13 seasons in blue and gold after the 2021-22 campaign.

The only unanimous MVP in NBA history has a long way to go to catch (to name a few):

-Dirk Nowitzki = all 21 seasons with the Mavs (technically drafted by the Bucks)
-Kobe Bryant = all 20 seasons with the Lakers (technically drafted by the Hornets)
-Tim Duncan = all 19 seasons with the Spurs
-John Stockton = all 19 seasons with the Jazz
-Reggie Miller = all 18 seasons with the Pacers
-Manu Ginobili = all 16 seasons with the Spurs
-Udonis Haslem = all 16 seasons with the Heat (he went undrafted)
