The Sharks haven't played close to their best hockey over the last two games, but they have a chance to tie their best-of-seven first-round series with the Vegas Golden Knights at two games apiece with a win in Game 4 on Tuesday night.
San Jose looked great in Game 1, but got into trouble in Games 2 and 3 after allowing Vegas to get on the scoreboard early and often. A better start will be imperative if the Sharks hope to swing the momentum back in their favor.
If San Jose is going to tie the series, they'll have to do so without the help of Joe Thornton, who will miss Game 4 due to suspension.
