It's possible that we've seen the last of Shaun Livingston on an NBA court.
It's also possible we haven't.
Shortly after the Warriors lost in the NBA Finals to the Toronto Raptors, the veteran reserve guard spoke with The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears about his future and it appears it could go either way.

Livingston is on the Warriors books for $7.69 million for the 2019-20 season, but only $2 million of that money is guaranteed.

For the last few months, Livingston has hinted at the possibility of retiring. In April, the 33-year-old spoke to The Athletic about calling it a career.
"It's just all the signs on the wall," Livingston told The Athletic. "And just more so from a physical standpoint. If I'm healthy and having fun, then I want to play. But physically, if I'm not … Like, I put so much work in my body just to get back to playing basketball, let alone get to this point where I'm at. So now that it's getting harder. Like this year, I've struggled with injuries more than any other year I've been on the Warriors."
Livingston has been a valuable member of the Warriors' bench for the last five years, but his production slipped this past season. After averaging 5.7 points and 2.6 assists in 18.0 minutes over his first four seasons with Golden State, Livingston averaged just 4.0 points and 1.8 assists in 15.1 minutes this past season.

If Livingston is indeed headed off into retirement, he's had a career he can be proud of. He overcame a devastating leg injury early in his career and became a three-time NBA champion.
Not bad.
