Steph Curry, Phil Mickelson Form Star Pairing at Safeway Open Pro-Am

It's no secret Steph Curry loves golf, and the Warriors star held his own against one of the sport's best Wednesday during the Safeway Open Pro-Am.

Playing in a foursome with five-time major champion Phil Mickelson, Curry eagled the 10th hole at the Silverado Resort course in Napa. It was part of the two-time NBA MVP's strong day with the driver.

Mickelson gave Curry some tips on the course, and Curry apparently returned the favor. Lefty took a page out of his partner's book, replicating his signature shimmy.

It has been a big month-and-a-half for Curry on the golf course. Curry announced in August that he would fund the golf program at Howard University, a historically black institution, for six years, as part of a larger effort to make golf more inclusive and accessible outside of affluent country clubs. The 31-year-old also hosted his annual charity golf tournament earlier this month.

But with the Warriors beginning training camp next week, is Curry ready to get back on the court?

Seems fair to say he is.
