What was supposed to be a fun bash to celebrate Oakland and Steph Curry's 10 years of playing in The Town took an odd, confusing turn.
Curry posted a video on his Instagram account late Tuesday night announcing a party at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Friday night. Curry said he will be at the event and there will be a special performance and special guest appearances.
Curry instructed fans to go to his Under Armour pop up store to get their free tickets for Friday's event.
However, Curry didn't say when to go to his pop-up store.
So, some Warriors fans went today. When they showed up, the store was closed.
ABC 7 had reporters there and spoke to "disappointed fans."
Curry saw the story, wasn't happy and used it as a way to clear the air.
