It's probably the most iconic shot of Steph Curry's career. And you only need to hear one word to know what 'it' is.
'BANG!'
"Well I made 11 already in the game, so obviously I was feeling a rhythm and feeling like I could make anything, anywhere," Curry said of his game-winning 37-foot 3-pointer in overtime against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Feb. 27, 2016. "I knew that time was running down and we decided not to call a timeout and push it up in transition, and really, you try to make the most simple decision, just to get a shot up. And that was it."
With the score tied at 118, Curry walked the ball up the court in the waning seconds of overtime. Thunder defensive stalwart Andre Roberson made the mistake of taking one step too far backward, leaving Curry enough room to pull up and hoist with 2.5 seconds remaining.
As the ball banked in off the back rim, ESPN's Mike Breen let out the call that will forever be associated with one of the gutsiest game-winners in NBA history.

"I call it simple for me because I actually practice that shot, but I just had confidence to shoot it," Curry continued in an interview with House of Highlight's founder Omar Raja. "You can talk about the ones that you make, you can talk about the ones that you miss, but the same kind of mindset goes into it. Rise up and shoot it."

Curry has had plenty of big shots in his career, but none quite like the one that took all the air out of Chesapeake Energy Arena that night. That said, given the expanded role Curry is likely to assume this coming season in the wake of Kevin Durant's departure, he should have plenty of opportunities to try to top it.
