Steph Curry Gifts Curry 6's to Texas Tech Before NCAA Men's Final Four

Steph Curry surprised the Final Four-bound Texas Tech Red Raiders with a gift Thursday.

Well, a few gifts, as the Warriors star gave every Red Raiders player a pair of the Under Armour Curry 6 shoe. Curry is an Under Armour endorsee, and Texas Tech is an Under Armour school.

"You've had amazing success to this point," Curry said in a pre-recorded video. "But we're always striving for greatness, striving for more things. ... I hope you wear this shoe with pride. Go out there, get it done, have fun doing it and we'll be watching and rooting for you guys the whole way."

Curry, of course, is no stranger to March Madness. He put himself on the map leading Davidson to a Cinderella run to the Elite Eight back in 2008.

Third-seeded Texas Tech wouldn't be anyone's definition of a Cinderella, despite this being their first apperance in the Final Four. The Red Raiders finished second in the Big 12 in the regular season, and Ken Pomeroy's rankings currently peg them as the fifth-best team in the country.

It's possible Curry could have divided loyalties in the National Championship on April 8. If Auburn upsets Virginia and Texas Tech knocks off Michigan State, the NCAA men's basketball tournament will end with an all-Under-Armour final.
