Steph Curry's Next Knee Evaluation Scheduled Before Game 4 Vs Spurs

OAKLAND -- Stephen Curry is officially out of the first three games of the first-round series between the Warriors and Spurs.

Out since March 23 with a sprained left medial collateral ligament (MCL), Curry was reevaluated Saturday, after which it was determined that he would be reevaluated again in one week.

"The examination indicated that Stephen has made steady functional progress since the injury and, as a result, he will intensify his on-court rehabilitation in the coming days, which w ill include more running and lateral movement," according to a release issued by the Warriors.

Wearing a brace on his knee, Curry spent a couple hours Friday doing light drills, slides to test his lateral movement and dribbling at half-speed with slight change of direction and then putting up a few shots in a non-contact session.

His next evaluation is scheduled the day before Game 4 of the series in San Antonio. Game 5 (if necessary) is scheduled for Tuesday at Oracle Arena, Game 6 (if necessary) for Thursday in San Antonio, with Game 7 (if necessary) on Saturday, April 28.
