Steph Curry is a three-time NBA champion. He's a two-time NBA MVP. The one thing missing from his resume is an NBA Finals MVP.
If he does hoist the Finals MVP trophy in the coming weeks, Shannon Sharpe believes Curry will cement his status as one of the greatest to ever play the game.
"It's going to be hard if he wins this one, wins the MVP, that you leave him out of the top 10," Sharpe said Tuesday morning on FS1's Undisputed.

Sharpe alluded to the fact that Curry has averaged more points per game in the Finals than all-time greats like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird and Dwyane Wade. In 22 career NBA Finals games, Curry is averaging 25.4 points per game.

With Warriors star forward Kevin Durant out for at least Game 1 of the NBA Finals, Curry should continue to carry Golden State's offense. He averaged 36.5 points per game in the team's sweep of the Trail Blazers to reach their fifth straight Finals.

Through the first 10 years of his NBA career, Curry has accomplished everything anybody could ever dream of. Adding a Finals MVP would just be another piece of hardware to place atop his overflowing mantle.
