San Francisco police are gearing up for what could be a raucous celebration if the 49ers win the Super Bowl Sunday night.

When the Niners won the NFC Championship two weeks ago, excited fans spilled out into the street in the Mission District to celebrate. Police said there were some troublemakers that night.

Officials say keeping fans safe during any celebration Sunday night in San Francisco will be a top priority. Roz Plater reports.

Mayor London Breed and SFPD Chief Bill Scott said keeping fans safe during any celebration Sunday night will be a priority.

Scott said officers on Sunday will be deployed all over the city to make sure things stay safe.

There also may be some street closures in the Mission District. The Mission between Cesar Chavez and 21st Street could be shut down after 5 p.m. Sunday. In addition, 24th Street between Bartlett and Potrero Avenue could be shut down as well.
