The seven members will be honored during a pregame ceremony at the Coliseum when the A's host the Yankees.
"Our franchise is built on the history of legends. The Athletics Hall of Fame allows us to recognize the individuals who have shaped our identity and brought us success," A's president Dave Kaval said in a statement. "We are honored to celebrate Eck, Rollie, Rickey, Catfish, Reggie, Stew, and Finley as our inaugural class."
Each year, the A's will induct a new class into the Athletics Hall of Fame as voted by a committee. In the future, Hall of Fame members will be honored with a display at the Coliseum.
