Warriors to Start First Round of Playoffs Saturday

The Golden State Warriors wrapped up their regular season schedule Wednesday night and announced they will start the first round of the NBA playoffs at home in Oakland on Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The No. 1-seeded Warriors will host the No. 8 Clippers at 5 p.m. at Oracle Arena. The game will be televised on ABC.

Game 2 of the best-of-7 series is also in Oakland at 7:30 p.m. Monday, with Games 3 and 4 in Los Angeles on April 18 and April 21.

The Warriors, back-to-back NBA champions, will seek their third straight title as they finish their last season in Oakland. The team will move to the new Chase Center arena in San Francisco for the 2019-2020 season.

Golden State playoff tickets are available at www.warriors.com. The Warriors have issued a fraud alert and warned fans about potentially buying tickets from a non-verified third party.

The team says over 800 fans were denied access during the regular seasons due to the counterfeit tickets they purchased.
