Warriors Win Title, Lose Game

The bad news? Golden State failed to win their 30th game of the season.  The good news? Rookie swingman Anthony Morrow scored 33 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and became the first Warrior ever to lead the NBA in three point shooting.

Morrow shot an amazing 46 percent (83-179)  from behind the arc this season and averaged 9.7 points per game.  As impressive as it is for a rookie to lead the league from three, it's even more impressive for an undrafted rookie.  Morrow was signed by the Warriors as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech last summer and has been impressing ever since.

Golden State ended their injury plagued season with a 117-113 loss to Phoenix.  The Warriors currently own the 7th overall choice in the June player draft,  finishing the season with an 29-53 record.  They failed to win 30 games for the first time since the 2001-2002 season.
